Clarence Hubbard

GREENVILLE — Clarence James Hubbard, 61, of Greenville died Sept. 6, 2013. His service will be at 2 p.m Saturday at Mount Gilead Baptist Church in Lone Oak with Rev. Phil Dukes officiating. Burial will be in Rabb Cemetery in Lone Oak with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home in Greenville.

He was born in Texarkana, Ark., to William Fred Hubbard and Ellen Jones. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy. He was an electrician.

Surviving are his fiancé, Shunda Brown; four sons, James Lynn Hubbard of Lone Oak, Vincent Dwayne Hubbard of Terrell, Christopher Leon Hubbard of Terrell and Daniel Jermaine Hubbard of California; two daughters, Danielle Hubbard and Mechille Hubbard, both of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four brothers, William Fred Hubbard Jr. of Greenville, Vincent Howard Hubbard of Texarkana, Ark., Jimmy Hubbard of Longview and Steven Lynn Hubbard of Arizona; 10 grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

His parents, two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
