Jerry Dean Cook, 61, of Royse City passed away Sept. 12, 2013, in Wylie.
He was born Oct. 29, 1951, to Clerance and Louise “Clark” Cook. Jerry worked at the Caddo Mills Police Department and Hunt County Sheriff’s Department.
He worked in excavation and landscaping for many years. Jerry served his country in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his sons, Heath Dewayne Cook of Flint, Texas, Lance Dean Cook of Princeton and Connor Dale Cook of Cooper; daughters Kasi Cook of Rockwall and Tamara Nichole Cook of Lone Oak; a brother, Richard and Pam Cook of Tom Bean; sisters Joyce and Petey Dean of Royse City, Betty and Kevin Swaim of Wylie and Jean Cook of Addison; and two grandchildren, Bryce Lynn Cook and Preston Scott Cook.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Charles Cook; and a sister, Charlene.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lynch Funeral Home in Caddo Mills.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
