GREENVILLE — Clarence LaDaryl Vaughn Sr. was born Jan. 7, 1986, in Greenville to Larry and Janice Vaughn; he was the youngest of their three children.

Clarence was baptized at a young age at Full Gospel Holy Temple Church in Greenville. He loved spending time with his three children, friends, and family. He also enjoyed football which he played in elementary and high school. He expressed his love for music by playing the saxophone in the school marching band.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and great-grandparents, Clarence and Jewel Vaughn, Sullivan and Lennie Ford, Benjamin and Alice-Harrison-Newton, Marcus Joe Newton; his aunt, Erma Jean Newton and his uncles, Charles Ray Vaughn and Rev. Adell Williams.

He leaves cherishing memories to his three children, Ashlynn Janiece, Athena Diane, and Clarence LaDaryl Vaughn Jr.; his mother, Janice Marie Scott; his father, Larry Vaughn; stepfather Donald Scott; his sister, Jannetta LaNae Davis (Danny) of Anna; brothers Edwin LaRay (Valerie) of Grand Prairie, DeAndre LaRon Vaughn of Mesquite; grandmothers Annie Ruth Ford-Newton, Evang. EttaWilliams and Elizabeth Scott; and a host of uncles, aunts, relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Price Temple COGIC, 4905 Pickett, in Greenville.

Evergreen Funeral Home of Dallas is in charge of arrangements.
