Charles Lewis Bundick Sr., 80, of Greenville passed away May 19, 2013.
He was born Dec. 13, 1932, in Houston.
After high school graduation, Charles went to work for Railway Express Agency in Houston and later transferred to Greenville as an agent for REA.
After REA, he operated his own truck and then went to work for Yellow Freight, where he would retire in 1999. He enjoyed retirement, traveling and just doing what he wanted to do.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, LaNell Bundick; children Charles Bundick Jr. (Linda), Lisa King (Charlie), Lori Phillips, and Thomas Bundick (Missy); seven grandchildren, Michael Stuart, Cody Phillips, Melissa Stuart Baker, Chris Bundick, Kyle Phillips (Stacy), Carey Bundick, and Amanda LaNell Bundick; five great-grandchildren, Mikayla Stuart, Jayden Stuart, Jayla Stuart, Chase Baker and McKenna Stuart; and Claude C. Culver.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Zelma Bundick; stepfather Robert Cobb; brother Glen Bundick; sisters Mary Culver, Marguerite Johnson and Susie McDonald; and his mother and father-in-law, Sam and Georgia Crosser.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Harvest Bible Church in Cash. Interment will follow immediately at Lynch Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lynch Funeral Service.
