Edna Lowery

GREENVILLE — Edna Mae Lowery, 97, of Campbell passed away May 11, 2013, in Dallas. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. until service time. Rev. Bob Sexton will officiate. Private interment will be at Memoryland Memorial Park.

Born June 13, 1915, in Hunt County, Edna was the daughter of Lee and Lilly Beesinger. In 1932 in Oklahoma, she married Dee Lowery. She was a seamstress at Haggar Pant Manufacturing and was a member of First Baptist Church in Campbell. 

Her survivors include her daughter, Frances Mullinix of Dallas; brother Eldon Beesinger of Temple; sister-in-law Letha Harrington of Campbell; grandchildren Deborah Rodriguez, Dennis Mullinix, Chris Lowery and Michael Lowery; and great-grandchildren Walker and Margaux Mullinix, Justin and Erin Rodriguez, and Tara, Taylor and Jace Lowery.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her son, Michael Jim Lowery.

The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
