Maxine Tisdale

GREENVILLE — Maxine Tisdale, 92, of Greenville passed away Jan. 17, 2013, at Harrison House Assisted Living, where she spent the last 6-1/2 years making new friends, playing dominoes, complimenting everyone and crocheting up a storm. 

She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Newcomb and husband Sterling of Greenville and Nikki Acker and husband Mike of Borger; six grandchildren, Trey Newcomb, Jessica Acker Hogan, Audra Acker, Chelsea Acker Gorham, Sam Acker and Suzette Acker, and her seven great grandchildren, Warren Acker Ramby, Olivia Kate Newcomb, Alexandra Kate Newcomb, Edith Gail Hogan, Calvin, Allison and Eli Jude Gorham.

A  funeral was held in Borger where all her family converged.

A memorial service will be at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in Harrison House Assisted Living Residence, 6400 Jack Finney Blvd. It will be led by Kennith and LaVerl Kluttz, worship leaders and longtime friends of Maxine’s and Karen’s.
