Louise Williams, 88, of Greenville, formerly of Quinlan, passed away May 7, 2014, at Legends Healthcare. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Tim James officiating. Interment will follow at Simmons Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born Oct. 21, 1925, in Merit, Louise was the daughter of Harvey J. and Leona (Motheral) Chambliss. On Nov. 6, 1943, in Cash she married James Williams. Louise was a loving wife, mother and friend to all.
She enjoyed cooking and did a fabulous job. She enjoyed fishing, knitting, her family and all her animals.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Williams and wife Pat and Terry Williams and wife Marilyn and daughter Shirley Carpenter and husband Tommy, all of Greenville; 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; daughter Gloria Ann; parents; three sisters; and six brothers.
Pallbearers will be Randy Perry, Billy Perry, John White, Jeramy Williams, Ronnie Foley, and Jimmy Foley. Honorary pallbearer will be Joe Parris Jr.
