Lola May Gaston Tucker, 77, of Quinlan passed away April 9, 2014, at her home.
She was born April 9, 1937, in Emory to William and Ruby Lavern Beam Gaston.
Mrs. Tucker lovingly cared for her family all of her life. She was a faithful member of Vansickle Baptist Church.
Lola is survived by her sons, Doug Tucker of Quinlan and Danny Tucker and wife Patty of Quinlan; daughters Chris Chamblis and husband Kenneth of Quinlan and Sandy Beringer and husband Fred of Greenville; two brothers, Lonnie Gaston of Marble Falls and Joe Gaston of Jayton; sisters Edith Bryant of Greenville and Nina Wood of Marble Falls; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruby Gaston; her husband, Murl Tucker; a son, Steve Tucker; and one great-grandchild, Buddy.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Vansickle Baptist Church with Bro. Roger Ratliff officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Dry Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville.
Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Tucker, James Tucker, Michael Tucker, Tyler Watkins, and Jeffery Tucker.
