Emma “Jean” Adcock, 91, of Farmers Branch, formerly of Greenville, died Friday, June 21, 2013, in Dallas.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013, at Kavanaugh United Methodist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Stephen Cotten will officiate. Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Adcock was born in Ashdown, Ark. on May 24, 1921. She was the daughter of Lee Taylor and Eula Fay Golden Taylor. On April 22, 1947, she married James Thomas Adcock in Texarkana, Ark.
She was a registered nurse and member of Kavanaugh United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sons Ronnie Adcock and wife, Vicki, Tommy Adcock and wife, Wanda, and Bill Adcock; and grandchildren Michael, Christopher, Landon and Lauren Adcock.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Adcock, in 2003.
Pallbearers will be Michael, Christopher and Landon Adcock, Mike and Pat Reed and Keith Davis.
