Leo Bryant

GREENVILLE — Leo Clinton Bryant, 89, of Greenville passed away Sept. 11, 2013, at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Nihl Bulkley II officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Valley Cemetery. 

Visitation is from noon until time of service today.

Leo was born Dec. 6, 1923, in Hunt County to Arlie Grover and Jessie Alzana Fox Bryant. He married Durene L. Holley on May 8, 1942, in Hunt County.

 He served with the U.S. Army. He maintained pipeline for Lone Star Gas Company.

He is survived by his wife of Greenville; a brother, Arlie W. Bryant of Cumby; sisters Barbara Kluttz of Greenville and Margie Bulkley of Royse City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
