Shirley Keath

Shirley Ann Keath, 72, of Greenville passed away Nov. 3, 2013, at her residence.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Benny Chaffin officiating. Interment will follow at the Lone Oak Cemetery. 

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Born Feb. 18, 1941, in Independence, Kan., Shirley was the daughter of Erbin and Marion (Greer) Schwatken. On Aug. 30, 1968, in Elk City, Kan., she married William A. Keath. She was a member of the Methodist faith.

She loved being called Mom and Grandma and always wanted her family to know how much she loved them and everything she did was for them. She always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Her survivors include her husband of Greenville; sons William Glen Keath of Greenville and Rodney R. Keath of Monroe, La.; daughter Shanna E. Martin of Campti, La.; brothers Elwood Schwatken and Rex Schwatken and wife Sharon, all of Wichita, Kan.; sister Lillian Day of Burrton, Kan.; grandchildren Cameron Headrick of Campti, La., and Alisha Netz and husband Tony of Lone Oak; four great-grandchildren, Case, Caleb, Colter and Jacob Netz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
