Billy Petty

Billly Carry Petty, 86, of Josephine passed away Oct. 1, 2013, in Rowlett.

He was born Jan. 6, 1927, in Farmersville to Couch and Lourah V. Petty.

Billy proudly served our country in the United States Army and later worked and retired from E-Systems. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Josephine.

Billy is survived by his loving wife, Ivy Hill Petty; son Billy Dale Petty of Cooper; daughters Ann Petty Cantrell and Joan Petty Hooper of Josephine; and a sister, Shirley A. Miller of Sunnyvale.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Murray Petty, sister Beverley Petty Hardin and grandson Craig L. Lusk.

His service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Josephine. Interment will follow the service at the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Caddo Mills.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Lynch Funeral Home chapel in Caddo Mills.

Pallbearers will be Blake Cantrell, Craig Lusk, Jase Hooper, Adam Strickland, Adam McKinney, and Justin Cowley.
