Mary Kathryn Glenn, 91, formerly of Fort Worth, went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2013. Kathryn passed away at The Arbors Retirement Home in Rusk.
Graveside services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Dr. Kelly Carr will officiate.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Kathryn was born March 19, 1922, in Cumby to Marvin and Lucy Carroll Tarrant. She married Lester C. Glenn in Greenville on Dec. 24, 1937.
They lived in Greenville until moving to Fort Worth in 1952. They owned and operated Glenn’s Truck Service until retirement in 1979, then returned to Greenville. In 2000 they moved to Tyler to be closer to family.
She is survived by her twin daughters, Mary Glenn Gluck and husband Paul of Rusk and Martha “Marti” Glenn Mire and husband Byron of Prairieville, La.; grandsons Chris Gluck and wife Kristi of Jacksonville and Greg Gluck of Richardson; great-grandchildren Bryan Gluck and Lauren Gluck of Jacksonville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, and her husband of 66 years.
