Bryant W. Daily, Jr., 81 of Greenville died Saturday, June 8, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Johnny Hailes officiating. Burial will follow in East Mount Cemetery.
Visitation will is from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondayat the funeral home.
Mr. Daily was born April 3, 1932 in Greenville. He was the son of Bryant W. Daily, Sr and Marguerite Basinger Daily. He married Leta Calahan on January 10, 1953 in Greenville. Mr. Daily graduated from Greenville High School. He served two years in the U. S. Army.
He was a printer and operated the print shop for Pure Paint Company for 22 years. He was the printing supervisor for North Texas Job Corps from 1984 until his retirement in 2001.
He was ordained as deacon in Lamar Baptist Church in 1967. He was a member of Family Fellowship of Greenville.
Survivors include a son, Brian Eric Daily and wife, Kelly of Greenville; granddaughter, Olivia Daily of Greenville; and life-long friend, Bette Pennington of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 38 years, Leta Daily; and half-sister, Margaret Daily in 1946.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Nelson, Daren Dawson, Bill Gaulden, Bill Husbands, Phillip Poarch, Paul Scott and Truett Wilburn.
