Erma Jackson

GREENVILLE — Erma L. Jackson, 70, of Greenville died Aug. 13, 2013 at a Rowlett hospital. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Elem Baptist Church in Greenville with Rev. James Anthony officiating. Burial will be at Grundy Memorial Park.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home.

She was born March 5, 1943, in Ore City to Steel and Gertrude Davis Armstrong. She was a maintenance worker and a member of Mt. Elem Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Gregory Armstrong (Karolyn) of Greenville; three brothers, Cleveland Armstrong of Garland, Robert Armstrong (twin brother) of Andrew, and Elder Odell Armstrong of Sachse; two sisters, Dessie Armtrong and Mae Dell Armstrong, both of Greenville; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Her parents, husband and two brothers preceded her in death.
