Peggy Anne Baker, 62, of Greenville passed away July 30, 2013.
She was born June 13, 1951, in Humbolt, Tenn., to George and Virginia Lowery.
She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Peggy was a poet. She loved cats and “Rocky” her black lab and hearing dog, loved animals and loved living in the country.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Wayne Baker; children Roy Wheeler and Karen and Mark Wheeler and Christa, all of Humble; a daughter, Kat Schreiner of Irving; stepdaughter Callie Baker of Mustang, Okla.; stepson Coury Baker of Mustang, Okla.; brothers Charles Lowery of Fort Waldon, Fla., Roger Lowery of Waco and John, James, and Bobby Lowery of the Houston area; and nine grandchildren.
Her parents preceded her in death..
A memorial service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hunt Regional Healthcare Foundation, P.O. Drawer 1059, Greenville, 75403-1059 in memory of Peggy Baker.
