Ricky Beadles

GREENVILLE — Lonnie Ricky Beadles, 55, of Celeste, died Dec. 22, 2013, at his home.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Highland Terrace Baptist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Sherwin will officiate.

Burial will follow at South Sulphur Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Ricky was born in Greenville on Aug. 28, 1958. He was the son of Lonnie Avner Beadles and Emalee Dodson Beadles. He married Staci Sicking on June 15, 2003, in Gainesville. He was superintendant of schools for Celeste Independent School District.

Survivors include his wife, Staci Beadles; father, Lonnie Avner Beadles; sons, Lonnie Blake Beadles and Luke Beadles; daughters, Melinda Stegall and husband, Josh and Melissa Beadles-Hill; brother, Lonnie Albert Beadles; sisters, Melba Bogan, Sue Johnson and husband, David, June Miller and Holly Press and husband, Brad; grandchildren, Ryleigh Stegall, Harley Stegall, Maddison Hill, MaKinna Hill and Kyson Davidson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Lance Beadles, and his mother, Emma Lee Beadles.

Pallbearers will beJosh Stegall, Clint Gilbert, John McNeil, Randy Reiter, John Erwin, and Mike Lipsey.

The family requests memorials be made to the Beadles Family Benefit Fund at First Bank of Celeste, P. O. Box 7, Celeste, 75423, for Luke’s future college expenses, or to the South Sulphur Cemetery Association, 2617 Taylor, Commerce, 75428.
