Candy Alisia Jackson Robinson was born in Greenville on April 10, 1961, to the parentage of the late Carl Henry Jackson and the late Annie Mae Jackson.
Although Candy never had any children, she did have eight beautiful nieces and nine handsome nephews that she treated as if they were her very own; she never showed one more attention than the other. Whenever she saw them she would always hug and kiss them as if it were her first time seeing them.
Candy leaves to cherish her memories five sisters, Annette Jackson of Commerce, and Sharon Jackson, Karen Jackson, Carol Jackson and Latosha Jackson, all of Greenville; three brothers, Carlton Jackson (Deborah) of Dallas, John Jackson (Linda) of Lancaster and Al Jackson of Greenville; 32 nieces and nephews; and a host of loving aunts and uncles, along with other family and friends.
Candy was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Anthony Nicoles and Kenneth Jackson.
Her homegoing service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Bethel AME Church followed by a burial at Grundy Memorial Park.
Visitation is today from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Grace & Mercy-Grundy Funeral Home.
