Billie Williams

WOLFE CITY — Billie Louise Williams, 89, of Wolfe City died at her home on June 23, 2013.

She was born on Dec. 31, 1923, in Rockwall County, to Willie Bradley Nall and Ruby Shanks Nall. She married Tommy Williams on Sept. 11, 1939, in Atoka, Okla.

Mrs. Williams worked for many years for Safeway Foods, and she was a member of First Baptist Church Wolfe City.

She is survived by her daughter Ronesa Louise Jacobs and husband Don of Allen; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law Sue Williams.

She is preceded in death by her husband Tommy Williams, parents, three sons Sony, Mike, and Tommy Lee Williams.

A funeral service will be held today at 10:30 a,m. at the First Baptist Church of Wolfe City, with Brother Tim Hearn officiating. Pallbearers will be Jim Williams, Brian Williams, Joseph Williams, Cody Tucker, Dustin Herres, and Christopher Litton. Honorary pallbearers will be David Denney, Jerome Tucker, and Mark Spurgeon.

R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial may be made to First Baptist Church Wolfe City at 103 South Preston Street, Wolfe City, 75496.
