Jerry Wright

FARMERSVILLE — Jerry Wayne Wright of Farmersville passed away the evening of June 11, 2013, in McKinney. Jerry was a strong, courageous, and gentle man and will be deeply missed.

He was born Jan. 15, 1944, in Farmersville, the son of Harlon and Lauretta Belle Hooper Wright. He married Dorothy Forshee Nov. 27, 1965, in Farmersville.

Jerry was retired from Ag Power in McKinney where he served as parts manager for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Farmersville.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Woody) Wright of Farmersville; a son, Keith Wright and wife Jamie of McKinney; his mother, Lauretta Belle Wright of Farmersville; and a brother, Kenneth Wright and wife Sharon of Merit.

Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Carla Wright, and his father, Harlon Wright.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Farmersville with Rev. John Foster, Rev. Bart Barber and Rev. Benny Mondy officiating. Interment will follow in the Merit Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville.
