Wanda Samples

GREENVILLE — Wanda Lou Samples, 71, of Greenville passed away Sept. 18, 2013. Services are at 2 p.m. today in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Mr. Rick Henslee officiating. Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. 

Born March 24, 1942, in Hunt County, Wanda was the daughter of David D. and Primrose (Jones) Lake. On June 1, 1963, in Greenville, she married George Samples; he preceded her in death Dec. 7, 2003.

She received an associate degree from Eastfield College. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ faith.

Her survivors include her brother, Larry Lake of Wolfe City; a sister, Debra Allen of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Carolyn Rozell.

Pallbearers will be Jared Allen, Lloyd Lanier, Johnny Rozell, Ray Allen, David Keller, and Jerry Jones.
