Michael Beasley

GREENVILLE — Michael Don Beasley, 61, of Greenville passed away June 18, 2013, at Dallas Medical Center following a long illness. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Kavanaugh United Methodist Church with Rev. Stephen Cotten officiating.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the family’s home.

Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born Oct. 14, 1951, in Greenville, Mike was the son of James Odell and Katie (Hall) Beasley. On Aug. 23, 1982, in Greenville, he married Barbara Gail Russell. Mike was a 1969 graduate of Garland High School and 1973 graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce.

The past owner of Mike Beasley Auto Sales, he semi-retired in 2009 as general manager of Williams Motors after 40 years in auto sales and management. After his retirement, he enjoyed working part-time for Joe Gibson Automotive.
