B. Sue Criswell-Hudak, PhD, 71, of Dunwoody, Ga., died Feb. 19, 2014.
Dr. Criswell-Hudak was born in Huntsville, raised in Blue Ridge, and was the daughter of the late Benjamin T. and Mary Kathryn Cook.
She graduated from North Texas State University and received her master’s degree and her Ph.D. from Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Criswell-Hudak worked as a project manager at NASA for their space flight experiment program and later became the director of medical technology training at the University of Arizona. She also served as the laboratory director for the Reproductive Institute.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne A. Hudak, MD; sons Brice Criswell and Andrew Hudak; daughters Beth Criswell, Lauren Hudak, and Jacquelyn Hudak; five grandchildren; and a brother, John Cook.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m., March 2, 2014, at H.M. Patterson and Son Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road NE, Sandy Springs, Ga. (30328) with Cantor Donna Faye Marcus officiating.
