Helen Parrish

Helen Lenora Parrish, 87, of Campbell passed away Feb. 20, 2014, in Rockwall. Services will be an intimate family gathering for the immediate family only at a private location.

Helen was born in Dallas on July 17, 1926, to James T. and Gladys Lynda Moser Ohy. She married Loyd Parrish on May 29, 1942, in Dallas.

Helen worked as an accountant with Frito Lay for many years and was of the Catholic faith.

After her husband passed away, Helen became very active in the nursing home, greeting others and being a social activities leader.

Helen is survived by her son, Donald Parrish and wife Rebekah; daughter Carolyn Faulkenberry and husband Dave, all of Campbell; grandchildren Wesley Parrish, Dwayne Parrish, Holly Elsten, Eric Harris and Brandi Rouser; great-grandchildren Clayton, Drake, Rayce, Kaitlyn, Madelyn, Wade, and Caleb.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sons James Elliott and Dennis Harold Parrish.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4144 N. Central Expy., Ste. 750, Dallas,   75204-9627 or American Cancer Society, 8900 Carpenter Freeway, Dallas,   75247.
