Christopher Sparger

Christopher Robin Sparger, 41, went to his heavenly home on Feb. 17, 2014.

He passed away at Plano Medical Center. He was born in Greenville on Nov. 13, 1972, to Maxie Lewis Sparger and Nikki Boyce.

Christopher loved to fish, play drums, and spend time with his boys. He had an amazing personality and sense of humor that was irresistible to everyone. His absence from this world leaves a huge hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Nikki and Blue Melendez; sons, Christopher Von Sparger, Christian Robert Sparger, and their mother Angie Glenn McAbee; sisters, Lisa VanWinkle Russell, Felicia Melendez, Brooke Melendez, Britt Melendez Steffey; brothers, John Michael Sparger, Noah Sparger, Frankie Melendez Jr., Joseph Melendez, Jesse Melendez; and many other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Max Sparger and his beloved Granny, Ruby Boyce.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Park Street Baptist Church in Greenville. Interment will be at Forest Park Cemetery with Bro. Johnny Hailes officiating.
