Lillie Bynum

— Lillie Bynum, 102, of Lone Oak passed away on Jan. 21, 2014, in Greenville.

She was born on August 24, 1911, in Sulphur Bluff to John and Susan Jacobs. Lillie married Clarence Bynum on June 20, 1931, and was a homemaker and a very fine seamstress.

Lillie is survived by her son, Dewey Bynum and wife Linda of Commerce; Sheila Dickens and husband Ronnie of Lone Oak; sister, Lucille Johnson of Frisco; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Bynum; parents; sons, Odell and Wilburn Bynum; daughter, Charlotte and husband Joe “Hezzy” Suits; grandson, Kenny Bynum and great-grandson, Ezekial Dunson.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Lynch Funeral Service chapel in Greenville. Interment will follow service at Simmons Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Rex, Landon Davidson, Adam Risley, David Dawson, Kelly Cupp, Jackie Isham, Blake Ethridge, and Dale Moore.
