Kenneth Wayne Turner, 61, of Alvarado, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 in a Greenville nursing home after a long illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Lavell Turner; brother David Graves; nephews William and Micah Turner
Kenneth grew up and was educated in Greenville. He was an Army veteran having served as Honor Guard, Missile Crewman and Sharpshooter. He worked in apartment maintenance for 15 years.
He is loved and will be missed by his wife Joanne Turner of Alvarado; sisters Deanna Chandler of Garland; Susan Hawkins and husband Ray of Greenville; brother Tommy Turner and wife Beth of Keller; nieces BaShara Boyd and husband of Houston; Shanae Chandler of Rowlett; Ari Voss and husband of Corinth; nephews Alan Hawkins of Plano; Daken Denney and wife of Greenville; several great nieces and nephews; life-long friends Ricky Abraham of Lampassas, Gale Leon Rose of Cash, Terry Money of Dallas.
