Charles Kitchens

CAMPBELL — Charles Mark Kitchens, 61, of Campbell passed away June 9, 2014, at the Kindred Hospital in Dallas. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Corazao officiating. Burial will follow at Brigham Cemetery in Campbell.  

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Charles was born in Dallas on Jan. 12, 1953, to Charles Howard and Ann Covington Kitchens. He married Marla Ashley on Feb. 14, 1993, in Dallas. Charles worked for Southwestern Bell as a systems technician. He was of the Methodist faith.

Charles is survived by his wife of Campbell; his mother, Ann Grimmett and husband Clyde of Greenville; children Lee Kitchens and wife Brandy of Wylie, Kaitlyn Kitchens of Campbell, and Micah Kitchens of Campbell; his faithful canine companion, Louie; a sister, Tricia Middle and husband Bobby of Flower Mound; grandchildren Marcus Lee Kitchens of Venus, Trinity Kitchens and Brandon Kitchens of Wylie; mother-in-law Mary Kanamam of Campbell; a brother-in-law, Wesley Ashley and wife DeAnn of Campbell; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Pallbearers will be Keith Cooke, Ray Rogers, Domingo Dominguez, Forrest Inmon, Wesley Ashley, and Mike Stewart.
