'Jackie' Hubbard

GREENVILLE — Jacqueline “Jackie” Hubbard was born June 28, 1953, to the parentage of William and Lee Alice Everett in Lone Oak. Jacqueline attended Dunbar Elementary School, Lone Oak High School and graduated from Crozier Technical High School in Dallas.

Jacqueline later went on to marry Larry Hubbard on Nov. 15, 1971; and to this union six children were born, Victor (Alisha) Hubbard, Camille (Bernard) Bailey, Larry (Misti) Hubbard, Everett (Angie) Hubbard, William “BJ” Hubbard and Ethan (Tenina) Williams.

Jacqueline leaves to cherish her memories a special friend, Partee Varmah; seven sisters, Billie (Louis) Edwards, Jeannette Hooper, Jo Ann (Michael) Rowel, Lalia Williams, Dorothy (Edward) Runnels, Mary Ervin and Estella Jones; four brothers, Johnny (Mary) Harris, Lester P. (Shelia) Harris, Ozark Everett and William Everett; three goddaughters; Vaniecy (Charles) Nwigwe, Denise Brumfield and Keesha Davis; a very special friend, Verleda McGee; one great-grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings and a daughter.

Her homegoing service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 3809 Lee Street, Greenville, with Minister Cecelia Barr as eulogist. Burial will follow at Rabb Cemetery in Lone Oak.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Grace & Mercy-Grundy Funeral Home.
