Jeffery Conerly, 54, of Greenville passed away July 22, 2013, at his home surrounded by family and friends.
He was born Oct. 12, 1958, in Bogalusa, La., to John and Mildred Johnson Conerly. Jeff proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Mount Zion Church. He worked for Briarcliff Nursing Home where he was a loyal employee for more than 15 years.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Valley Conerly; children Monique Morris and Lawrence of Louisiana, Naisha Conerly and Perry of Greenville, Brittney Conerly and Anthony of Greenville, Davarion Byers of Plano, Pierre Hayes of Greenville, Shalonda Savage and Jeff of Greenville and Kawana Savage and Kenneth of Greenville; 11 grandchildren; brothers Joe Willie Conerly and wife Pam and Larry Conerly and wife Margret; and sisters Ellexine Mcgee, Frankie Brown, Dorothy Tartt and husband Michael, and Anne Conerly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers John Conerly Jr. and Charles Conerly; and sisters Ela Rose Robinson and Arletha Ayers.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Lynch Funeral Service chapel in Greenville with Pastor Warren Dennis officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
