Lloyd Voss Sr., 85, of Greenville passed away July 22, 2013, at the Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. Graveside services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Memoryland Memorial Park under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Sikes officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lloyd was born Nov. 29, 1927, in Greenville to C.E. and Bertha Coppinger Voss. He married Sybil Aline Sikes in Greenville on Aug. 7, 1948. He was retired from L&A Railroad where he worked as a conductor. He was a member of Lamar Baptist Church and Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Lloyd Voss Jr. and wife Anna of Lubbock, daughters Ginny Mayner and husband Eddy and Shannon Jenkins and husband Junior, and twin brother Floyd Voss, all of Greenville; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Roy Voss, and sisters-in-law Kay Voss and Lareda Pennington Voss.
