Larry Daniel

Larry Duwane Daniel, 64, of Quinlan passed away April 16, 2014, in Dallas. 

He was born April 18, 1949, in Ada, Okla., to Amos and Juanita Groves Daniel. He was proud of his Chickasaw Indian heritage.

Mr. Daniel proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps. He was an electrician by trade and worked for Electric, Inc.

Larry is survived by his wife, Donna Daniel of Quinlan; a son, John Daniel of Quinlan; a daughter, Alicia Daniel of Irving; brothers Merle Daniel and wife Sylvia of Midland and Troy Daniel of Altus and Okla.; sisters Pat Cole and husband Ted of Sulphur, Okla., Brenda Beene of Stonewall, Okla., and Phyllis Ballard of Sulphur, Okla.; brothers-in-law Paul Davis and wife Virginia and Sammy Davis; grandchildren Ely Daniel, Ashley Sanders and Caitlin Daniel; a son-in-law, Jeffrey Jennings and wife Stephanie; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister who was of Greenville, Alice Daniel.

His funeral service is at 2 p.m. today in the Lynch Funeral Service chapel in Greenville. Visitation will begin at noon, two hours prior to service time. Interment will immediately follow the service at Wieland Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Jeremy Hayes, Ty Hayes, Edward Lewis, Todd Allen, Jeremy Teague, and Keith Howell. Carl Thumann will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
