QUINLAN — Dorothy Faye Perry, 79, of Quinlan passed away on Dec. 19, 2013 in Tyler.

She was born on Dec. 22, 1933, in Seagoville to Wallace and Johnnie Starnes.

Dorothy married her husband Robert Perry on Sept. 19, 1958, in Durant, Okla. She worked many years as a secretary for Southwestern Bell in Dallas. Dorothy was also a member of First Baptist Church of Cash.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Robert Perry; sons, Bobby Perry and wife Diane of Bonham, Billy Perry and wife Betty of Chandler, Randy Perry and wife Vickie of Tyler; brother, Harold and Jane Starnes of Terrell, Weldon “Bud” and Pat Starnes of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wallace Starnes.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. .Saturday, and a visitation is one hour prior to service, both at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville. Interment will be at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville following the service. Larry Combs will be presiding over the service.

The family wishes to express their appreciation for the excellent care provided by Park Place Nursing Home in Tyler and all the home caretakers that took care of Dorothy.
