'June' Henrikson

GREENVILLE — Elizabeth “June” Henrikson, 75, of Greenville went to be with the Lord on Nov. 11, 2013.

She was born on Sept. 14, 1938, in South Bend, Ind., to John and Betty Smith.

She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Greenville.

June had a heart for helping those less fortunate and volunteered for FISH Ministries and Bras for the Cause. She enjoyed being a part of the Red Hat Society.

June was a phenomenal watercolor painter with many of her works displayed in The Greenville Art League and ORA of Melbourne Beach, Fla.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Bill Henrikson, daughters: Kris  Stewart of Burleson, Jennifer Henrikson of Houston and Elizabeth and husband Tony Sauls of McKinney; brothers John Smith and wife Carolyn of Red Hill, Pa., Jerry Smith and wife MaryLynn of Riverview, Fla.; sister, JoAnn Dearman of Melbourne Beach, Fla.; and grandchildren, Brooke and Jacob Sauls.

June is preceded in death by her son, Henry Bill Henrikson Jr.; parents, John and Betty Smith; and brother-in-laws, Charles Dearman and John V. Henrikson.

The family will be having a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. on Nov. 27, 2013, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2311 Ridgecrest Road, in Greenville.

Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church of Greenville, FISH Ministries or charity of your choice.

Arrangements have been made through Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville.
