E.M. Mack was born Oct. 16, 1933, in Linden to S.A. and Maggie Witherspoon Mack.
He was a laborer who loved to work in the yard.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Myrtle Mack; seven sons, Eric Mack (Brenda) of Greenville, Kevin Mack (Sandra) of McKinney, Dana Mack (Shannan) of Longview, Byron Mack and Don Mack of Greenville, Rickey Stribling (Sue) and Patrick Titus (Lashun); six daughters, Shurhonda Rogers (Norman) of Commerce, Cheryl Anderson of Greenville, Alicia Wright (Brian) of Sulphur Springs, Eleanor Brown, Tonya Stribling and Pam Titus of Greenville; two sisters, Ruby Davis of Los Angeles, Calif., and Betty Bolding of Dallas; one brother, Rev. Willie Mack (Opal) of Mt. Pleasant; 36 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, two brothers, one child and his first wife, JoAnn Mack.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Baptist Church with Rev. V. Locklear serving as eulogist and Rev. R. Broach officiating.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Grace & Mercy Funeral Home.
