Wayne Reneau

Wayne Kelly Reneau, 88, died Oct. 2, 2013. 

He was born Feb. 8, 1925, in Greenville to William Wayne and Marguerite Kelly Reneau. He was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian faith.

Wayne Kelly was a printing pressman and retired from the UNT Printing Department. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a great collector, a faithful follower of his grandchildrens’ activities, and a friend to everyone.

He married Helen Owens on Aug. 3, 1956, in Greenville. They were the parents of two sets of twins less than two years apart.

Survivors are his wife of 57-plus years, Helen; his son, Shane and wife Jamie of Krum; his son, Shawn and wife Laurie of Denton; daughter Karen and husband Jeff of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; son Keith and wife Mary of Bartlesville, Okla.; six grandchildren, Colby Reneau (and girlfriend Jessica Johnson), Camron Reneau, Kaylee Reneau, Jenna Reneau, Savana Kelly Reneau, and Tegan Wayne Reneau; stepgrand daughters Britany Waisner and Lindsay Shores and husband Shannon, and their children, Alexis and Gabriel; a sister-in-law, Ada Dunn; two brothers-in-law, Lloyd Owens and wife Betty and David Owens and wife Linda; and many nieces and nephews. 

Wayne Kelly was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sarah Holley; and a brother, James Reneau.

Graveside rites are planned for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, for family and close friends. A memorial service will follow at the Krum First United Methodist Church at 11:30 a.m.. 

Visitation will be at Bill DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton today from 6 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice or to the memorial garden fund at Krum First United Methodist Church.
