Bobbie Morris

GREENVILLE — Bobbie Jean Prestridge Morris, 50, of Greenville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept. 26, 2013.

She was born March 23, 1963, in Dallas to I.G. and Madeline Elizabeth Prestridge.

Bobbie was a member of Artis Heights Baptist Church. She was grateful for her family and her salvation with God. She loved to bowl and enjoyed many years at Buckner Bowling, but most of all she loved being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her love, Michael Morris; her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth “Beth” and Wayne Garcia of Greenville; a son, David Wayne Morris of Greenville; grandchildren Brianna Garcia (Bobbie’s first precious granddaughter), Nathon Garcia (Bobbie’s grandson and her pride and joy), and Arianna Garcia (Bobbie’s granddaughter and her angel); brother and sister-in-law Donnie and Sharon Pyle of Mesquite; sisters and brother-in-law, Madeline “Carol” and Phillip Reeves of Rockwall and Linda Darlene Williams of Terrell; and mother-in-law Betty Wise.

Her service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, in the Lynch Funeral Service chapel in Greenville. Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Caddo Mills.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
