Sylvia Johnson, 82, of Greenville died June 20, 2013, at a Greenville nursing home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with Rev. Terrence Johnson officiating. Burial will be in East Mount Cemetery in Greenville.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home.
She was born April 10, 1930, in Daingerfield to J. Hue and Fruzzie Kelley Coffee. She was a homemaker and a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Greenville.
Surviving are two sons, Lorenzo Roland Johnson Jr. (Constance) of Los Angeles, Calif., and Bobby Hugh Johnson (Cynthia) of Waco; two daughters, Charlotte A. Jackson of Greenville and Elaine Vaughn (Wilbert) of Greenville; a sister, Catherine Jones of California and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters and four grandchildren.
