Kathleen Mills

GREENVILLE — Kathleen Kay (Gibson) Mills, 52, of Greenville passed away June 25, 2013.  Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Greenville with Dr. Doyle D. Sumrall and Rev. Mike Middlebrooks officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.  Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements

Born March 1, 1961, in Dallas, Kathleen was the daughter of Joe and Janet Ruth (Beery) Gibson.

In January 1996 she married Thomas Francis Mills in Dallas. Kathleen graduated from Greenville High School and was self-employed. She was a former member of First Baptist Church in Greenville and was currently a member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church in Dallas. 

Her survivors include her husband of Greenville; her parents of Greenville; daughters Nicole Elizabeth Bedford and husband, Bradley of Greenville and Sarah Williams of Moore, Okla.; stepsons Louis Mills and wife Amber and Seth Mills and wife Anne, all of Forney; brother Brian Gibson and wife Lori of Greenville; grandchildren Gregory, Addison and Emma Bedford and new granddaughter on the way, Charlotte Bedford, Joshua, Louis and Gary Mills, and Caroline and Walker Mills; niece Stefani Maiwelmal and husband Travis and nephew Kyle Gibson and wife Shaely, all of Greenville; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Gregory Joe Gibson, and grandparents Minerva and Gene Beery and Andrew and Ethel Gibson.

Pallbearers will be Seth Mills, Louis Mills, Kyle Gibson, Travis Maiwelmal, Bradley Bedford, and Randy Tarpley.

The family request memorials be made to the SPCA.
