GREENVILLE — Sidney Charles Dean, 60, of Greenville died March 21, 2013, in the Greenville hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Derrick Golden of McKinney officiating. Burial will be in Grundy Memorial Park.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home.

Son of Andrew and Annie Frances Dean, he was born Feb. 6, 1953, in Wolfe City. He married Diane Williams. Mr. Dean was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Diane Dean of Greenville; one son, Christopher Williams of Greenville; three daughters, Nita Nelson (Anthony) of Mesquite, Sabrina Cozine (Tony) of McKinney and Christina Williams of McKinney; four brothers, Andrew Dean (Mary) of Greenville, Eddie Dean of South Carolina, Travis Dean (Mary Jo) of Greenville and Elder S.K. Dean (Debra) of Greenville; sisters Phillis Key (Curtis) and Sarah Dean, both of Greenville; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

His parents and a sister preceded him in death.
