Wandalene Mobley

Funeral services for Wandalene Mobley, 76, of Cooper will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the  Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Commerce with Rev. R.J. Nanny officiating. Burial will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Cooper with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today, at Delta Funeral Home in Cooper.

She died Nov. 17, 2013, in Cooper.

She was born April 15, 1937, in the Pecan Gap Community of Delta County, the daughter of Fred Harvey and Pauline McGaha DePoyster. She married Landis Mobley on May 8, 1954, in Hugo, Okla.; and he survives.

Mrs. Mobley was a homemaker and a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church where she was the organist, pianist and Sunday school teacher. 

She is survived by her two sons, Stephen Landis Mobley and wife Angela of Cooper and Lance Lafe Mobley of Seagoville; one daughter, Paula Susan Mobley Rackley and husband Sam of Cooper; two sisters, Edna Merle Merlick of Watauga and Ellen Ann Flannery of Cooper; nine grandsons, Lafe Mobley, John Mobley, Dalton Rackley, Landon Rackley, Stephen Mobley II, Christopher Mobley, Trevor Mobley, Landis Rackley and Rayquain Mobley; and two great-grandsons, Blayze Mobley and Kayne Mobley. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.
