Bobby Lynn Hudgeons, 67, of Greenville died Aug. 13, 2013, in Royse City Health and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Steve Johnson and Ron Williams officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Hudgeons was born in Greenville on July 5, 1946. He was the son of Ben Hudgeons Jr. and May Fair Sigler Hudgeons. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Family Fellowship of Greenville and a lifetime member of DAV. He was an electronic technician.
Survivors include his mother, May Fair Hudgeons of Greenville; sons John D. Hudgeons and wife Heather of Dallas and Jeremy L. Hudgeons and wife Kelley of Lavon; brother Gary Hudgeons and wife Pamela of Greenville; sister Linda Gillentine and husband Don of Cash; a sister-in-law, Regina Hudgeons of Quinlan; grandchildren Cameron Hudgeons and Dakota Hudgeons; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony J. Hudgeons; his father in 1999; brother Ben J. Hudgeons in 2008; sister Sheri K. Hudgeons in 2011; and beloved Aunt Frances Pharr in 2011.
