Bobby Hudgeons

GREENVILLE — Bobby Lynn Hudgeons, 67, of Greenville died Aug. 13, 2013, in Royse City Health and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Steve Johnson and Ron Williams officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.  

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Hudgeons was born in Greenville on July 5, 1946. He was the son of Ben Hudgeons Jr. and May Fair Sigler Hudgeons. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Family Fellowship of Greenville and a lifetime member of DAV. He was an electronic technician.  

Survivors include his mother, May Fair Hudgeons of Greenville; sons John D. Hudgeons and wife Heather of Dallas and Jeremy L. Hudgeons and wife Kelley of Lavon; brother Gary Hudgeons and wife Pamela of Greenville; sister Linda Gillentine and husband Don of Cash; a sister-in-law, Regina Hudgeons of Quinlan; grandchildren Cameron Hudgeons and Dakota Hudgeons; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  

He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony J. Hudgeons; his father in 1999; brother Ben J. Hudgeons in 2008; sister Sheri K. Hudgeons in 2011; and beloved Aunt Frances Pharr in 2011.

Pallbearers will be Benny Hudgeons, Jerry Hudgeons, Joe Hudgeons, Brian Hudgeons, Cody Hudgeons, Don Gillentine, Kyle Gillentine and Carson Mudie. Online condolences may be made at www.cokermathews.com and www.heraldbanner.com.
