Reta Little

Reta Faye Little, 59, of Gilmer passed away Sept. 11, 2013, in Marshall. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Valley View Baptist Church in Gilmer.

Sullivan Funeral Home of Marshall is in charge of arrangements.

Reta was born May 2, 1954, in Vernon to Harvey and Vida Pool Palmer. She owned El-Charro in Greenville for more than 20 years and was the manager of Dairy Queen in Gilmer for 13-plus years.

She was loved by her daughters, grandkids, sisters and her community and will be missed by all who knew her.

Reta was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughters, Selena Reyes Thompson and Charmaina Reyes Bowers; sons-in-law Daniel Thompson and Kevin Bowers; grandchildren Jacob, Marissa, Lisa, Diego, Raef, Travis and Kattie; sisters Mary Martin, Eula Mae Ransom, Barbara Sessions and twin sister Leta Bailey; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
