Robert Pharr

WOLFE CITY — Robert Henry “Lock Doc” Pharr, 91, of Wolfe City died Sept. 24, 2012, in Bonham. 

He was born June 27, 1921, in Crowley to Joseph and Della Robinson Pharr.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Wolfe City. Robert served in the United States Army during World War II and later retired from the United States Air Force.

He owned and operated a hardware store in Wolfe City and later operated a locksmith business where he became known as “Lock Doc.” 

He is survived by two sisters, Martha Trapp of Bay City and Beatrice Reynolds of Wichita Falls; nieces and nephews; and beloved friends Clyde, Jana, Emily and Chase Barrett.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church in Wolfe City with Bro. Monte Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery with the Sheppard Air Force Base Honor Guard providing military honors. 

Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeal home.
