Glenda Woodson, 73, passed away June 7, 2013, after a long battle with lung and brain cancer.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rough Creek Cemetery.
Visitation is from 12 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
She was born July 30, 1939, in Idabel, Okla., to Charley and Barrie Roberts Tompkins. She moved to Granbury in 1977 and retired from Tommy’s after 15 years of service. Glenda was a devoted housewife and mother.
Survivors are sons, Tim and wife Judy Waldrep of Greenville and Mark and wife Kim Waldrep of Tolar; daughter, Beth and husband Ralph Lawrence of Cleburne; grandchildren, Richard and wife Michelle Millsap, Corie Waldrep, Jamie and husband Greg Lewis, Penni and husband Kerry Kimpton, Dustin and wife Morgan Waldrep, Benton White, Jerra and husband Brady Rutledge, 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlene Raney and Betty Pardeu.
She was preceded in death by Harvey Sims, Joe Woodson, Jimmy Waldrep, a grandson, Brian Millsap, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Care or American Cancer Society.
