GREENVILLE — Jordan Casey Wright, 16, of Greenville died Dec. 30, 2013. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Highland Terrace Baptist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Officiating at the funeral services will be Dr. Chet Haney, Jonathan Carpenter, Rev. Jay Henderson, Matt Reynolds, Joshua Wright, CeCe Winans Love and Rev. Royce Litchfield. Burial will follow at Celeste Cemetery.  

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church.

Jordan was born in Greenville on July 30, 1997. He was the son of the late Charles Richard Wright and Christy Wright Perry. He was a junior at Celeste High School and a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church. Jordan was an outstanding student who was involved in numerous activities including athletics, FFA, Beta Club, FCA, and Spanish Club, just to name a few. He was a high achiever who was well liked and a friend to many. Jordan will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his mother, Christy Wright Perry and stepfather Chuck Perry of Greenville; brothers Joshua Wright of Nashville, Tenn., and Justin Wright and wife Ashlee and daughters Peyton and Rylee of Greenville; grandparents Gene and Jane Baldwin of Greenville and Mona Cobb and husband L.A. of Menifee, Ark.; aunts and uncles Craig Adamson and wife Rhonda of Greenville, John David Wright and wife Linda of Arkadelphia, Ark., and Kerri Hoover and husband Shane of Kirby, Ark.; several cousins; and his girlfriend, Carly Felty of Celeste.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Wright, and grandfather John R. Wright.

Pallbearers will be Austin Shatto, Colton Smith, Austin Gilliam, Micah McCaslin, Traylon Phillips and Clayton Mackey. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Coach Mike Lipsey, Cody Evans, Trenton Daugherty, Nathan Butcher and Coach Gary Jackson.
