GREENVILLE — Bobby Glenn Williams, “Chee Chee,” was born Oct. 6, 1952, to the parentage of Loston and Cutis Williams. He attended and graduated from Greenville High School in 1972. Bobby was a member of Love and Faith Fellowship Church. He was self-employed for many years at Balls Auto until his health began to fail.  

He departed this life on May 21, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Kasha Perkins

Bobby leaves to cherish his precious memory four daughters, Sonya Hawkins of San Antonio, Saniqua Perkins of Waco, Simone Blaylock (Jason Steele) and Bobbie Williams of Greenville; one son, Emanuel Williams of Greenville;  seven sisters, Lois Williams, Mary Puckett (Herman), Helen Redford (Paul), Debra Goodson (Tony), Vernetta Williams, Nelda Leslie (Tony) and Shirley Wright (Thomas); seven brothers, Ray Tennison, Edward Williams, Larry Williams, Loston Williams Jr., Thomas Williams, Lowman Williams and Roy Lee Williams; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Undra Williams officiating. Burial will follow at East Mount Cemetery.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Grace & Mercy-Grundy Funeral Home.
