Bugs, Brighton bag and more up for bid

Annual Chamber auction July 12

GREENVILLE — The 2014 Annual Greenville Chamber Auction, “Puttin’ on the Ritz, Y’all”, is offering some unusual items up for bid this time around.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 12 at the Peninsula Ranch and Lodge and benefits the Greenville Chamber Education Foundation Education Programs and the Greenville Chamber.

There will be a silent auction, a live auction, a Cowboy Boot drawing, dinner, an open bar and entertainment.

Among the items which have been added to the auction is a Brighton Handbag from Calico Cat; a custom built Hexbug Nano V2 Habitat Set and a total of 10 Hexbugs; a collection of prints, cards and books from the Kimbell Art Museum; and a a guest DJ spot with advertising and one hour of “Rocky & Friendlee” on location, courtesy of Hunt County Radio.

Tickets are $25 per person and sponsorships are available for the event
