Early voting ends for Saturday’s elections

By BRAD KELLAR
Herald-Banner Staff

Early voting for Saturday’s elections turned out to be less than hectic, even though there are races to be decided on 17 ballots across Hunt County.

Early voting by personal appearance ended Tuesday for the elections for city councils, school boards and the boards of three utility districts.

A total of 108 early votes were cast Monday and Tuesday, bringing the tally to 236 early votes cast.

Polls will be open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday. A list of polling places for each election will appear in Saturday’s editions of the Herald-Banner.

Anyone wanting additional information about the elections can contact the Hunt County Voter Administration Office by calling 903-454-5467 or visit the office’s Web site at www.huntcounty.net.
